Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano originates from California and initially was attracted to gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. In 2010 she first appeared on the screen with an episode of the CBS series "NCIS.' The following year, her first big-screen appearance made it into the biographical thriller production J Edgar. She was one of the top young actors to be seen over the next few years. Her performance as 'NCIS, which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for the best performance of a television Series featuring a Guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest actor on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' It". Calvano was featured in a variety series of the show "Mom" in its fourth season. She played the main role in the initial three seasons of the show. In 2015, she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
