Aisha Hinds
Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her performances in the television shows "The Shield" as well as "True Blood'. She has demonstrated her versatility every since her debut on TV as a character in the year 2003. Her performance has been exceptional in shows such as "9-1-1", "Detroit 1-8-7" and "Under the Dome". Her role in 2005's 'Assault in Precinct 13" acting as Anna was the first role to catch her the attention of viewers. However, it was her role as women's right activists Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film 'All the Way' that eventually earned her recognition as an actor. Hind was also praised by critics for her performance in Harriet Tubman in WGN America's"Underground," a period drama. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. The show has been renewed for the third season from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently completed filming for the Hollywood movie "Godzilla King of the Monsters" and will be released in 2019.
