Kellie Martin, an American actor and actress on television and film. She is most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the period drama series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Also, Kellie is well-known as the main character on her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. She began acting in the age of seven when her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, helped Martin to be in the TV show Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. She was able to land important roles on television as well as on the big screen. Martin is a professional actress as well as an accomplished photographer and dancer, has been in the business for over 20 years. The mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness every day since the death of her sister when she was the age of 19.
