Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. The TV show she hosts The Last House Remaining on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30 2012. She also serves as an on-camera meteorologist and is co-executive director. Bonnie's very first book was EXTREME weather published Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston Schneider also contributed the entertainment and lifestyle reports as a special assignment reporter three days a week. She was employed at WFOR-TV as a weather forecaster on weekends before moving to WB56. She held various meteorology and reportage positions, which included News 12 Long Island (a 24-hour cable television news network) and WXII-TV in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she worked as a fill-in meteorologist on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
